Okay, I’m a gummy freak. It’s my top craving when I want something sweet. When I was trying to loose weight, I always craved Swedish Fish, Sour Patch Kids, and Swedish Berries. My coach at the time never let me have them- until I brought the idea of homemade gummies using BCAA’s. Luckily he said, yes! What are BCAA’s? Branched-chain amino acids: leucine, isoleucine and valine. Basically it improves muscle growth and aids with performance. It’s also shown to help with fatigue, which is why I used it while training. You can buy them at supplement stores or even your local grocery market.
These delicious treats will help kick that craving while adding beneficial factors.

Recipe:
4 packets gelatin (0.25oz each)
1 scoop BCAA’s (any flavour will do)
1 cup water OR low calorie fruit juice OR half and half
If you didn’t use fruit juice then add packet of low calorie sweetener
Bring liquids to boil then switch temp to low- mix rest of ingredients until dissolved. Keep stirring for about 5-10 minutes until it thickens (gel like). Pour in desired molds and place in freezer for 30 minutes. I bought these bunny molds at Micheals for roughly $5. Eat and enjoy!
